Ruth Hereward

Ruth is an Associate Solicitor in OBL’s Insurance law and Defence Litigation department. Ruth joined OBL in January 2019.

She advises Irish and international insurance companies in the defence of primarily personal injury claims.

She has extensive defence litigation experience encompassing Employer, Motor and Public Liability matters handling cases in both the Circuit and High Courts. She was recently involved in a successful quantum appeal matter determined in the Court of Appeal.

Ruth is also qualified to practice in England and Wales.
