Julie O’Sullivan

Julie O’Sullivan is a partner in our banking and financial services team. She has more than 20 years’ experience acting for a broad range of lenders and borrowers in connection with a wide variety of banking transactions, specialising in acquisition finance, development/construction finance, secured lending and mergers and acquisition financing.

Julie has a unique and in-depth understanding of the real estate finance market which has been developed through her role advising on many large-scale real estate finance transactions. She also has extensive experience in relation to restructuring, workouts and pre-enforcement strategies for lenders.

Her client base to date includes pillar lenders, developers of PRS and social housing schemes, alternative lenders, international organisations, independent financiers, and receivers.

Julie also has strong specialist knowledge in the acquisition, development, disposal and leasing of residential properties to approved housing bodies and local authorities and provides development financing advise to our firm’s developer clients in this sphere.

Having started her career at a leading international law firm in the construction department, Julie gained invaluable experience drafting and advising on contracts for building and engineering works at all tiers, contracts for design consultancy services, project/construction management services, FM/OM services, collateral warranty documentation and agreements for all facets of PPP project work, property development and infrastructure provision.
