Conor O Neill


Conor joined OBL in 2018. He previously worked in-house with an insurance company advising on a variety of topics including defence litigation, fraud, the Financial Services Ombudsman complaints process, policy coverage, governance issues and legislative changes.

He specialises in giving advice that is practical, informative and encompasses effective resolution strategies. While in private practice, Conor dealt with cases involving personal injury, property damage, construction, products liability, professional indemnity, defamation, insurance law, and marine and maritime law for a number of insurance companies.

Conor has been published in the area of defamation and has spoken on the duty of disclosure and accident and claims investigation to insurers and their clients.
